This course examines the infrastructure that enables K12 computing education in four layers: standards, curricula, computational media, and implementations. It prepares current and future CS teachers to practice within these structures and to consider how existing programs might be changed or new ones designed. Alongside this, students review the full content of the New York Computer Science Content Specialty Test (CST) using the CST preparation guide and its practice questions.

Prerequisites: LAI 676 and LAI 677. Over the semester, students also complete a CST review, working through the full content of the test.
