Grace Y. Xu

Grace Y. Xu is a first-year Ph.D. student in the CISL program. She holds a M.S. in Learning Design and Technology from Stanford University and a B.S. in Elementary Education and Child Development from Vanderbilt University. Her research interest is in exploring how young children, particularly those in grades K-2, interact with technology in classroom settings. She is also interested in designing (and researching) technology-enhanced learning environments that empower young students to learn about the world and about themselves.

Two truths and a lie about Grace (and email Grace if you want to know which one is the lie, or if you just want to talk):

  1. She knows how to fortune-tell using people's birthtimes.
  2. She knows how to read Mayan hieroglyphics.
  3. She knows how to ride bareback.
