Joining the lab
Current lab members: Anything that would have been helpful to you as you were getting started should be added to this page.
General
Create the following accounts if you have not already:
- Github, a platform for sharing code and data.
- Ask for access to the lab web site repository.
- ORCID, a broadly-used identifier for researchers.
- A Zotero account. We do not yet have a shared lab bibliography, but we will at some point.
Research assistants
Before you can join a research project supervised by UB's IRB (this includes any project involving human subjects), UB requires you to complete some video trainings through CITI. The following modules are required:
- Conflict of interest
- Human Research Curriculum, Social & Behavioral Research Investigators (Basic of Refresher course within 3 years)
- Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research (Basic or Refresher course within 3 years)
