Story 04
So my story I guess is connected towards like how we met people before going to college. Mine was like how we uploaded like images and bios to like a certain Instagram like before we even entered college. So how I like first heard of it so I was literally just scrolling on Instagram like this was summer of 2023 before we entered our freshman year. And it was just like am I recommended and I was like oh why not because people everyone else is doing it. The second I did it it was like instant like follow requests like on social on Instagram Snapchat like everyone wanted to know everyone. And it was just kind of like overwhelming I'd say because just everyone is just so desperate to know as many people as possible. That was you. And I do feel like it is like a good thing because I feel like it helps me from not going into college like blinds not knowing not knowing anyone. I feel like schools should help regulate this because I think I'm not 100 percent sure but I think those Instagrams are like student regulated not by the school. I think it should be by the school so it can help like with like roommate partner ups and stuff like that. So yeah that's my story. Anyone have any questions? Did someone talk you through how to do the recording part? Yeah. Why do you think the school should get involved? What do you think is missing from that? Yeah. I think school should get involved just so it can help like with roommate partner up better because I feel like I've heard a lot of like messy stories. Well I heard a lot of like good stories but like all the good stories like I was random with my roommate last year and we worked out well but I know some random roommates worked out really bad last year. I can attest to that. Did this event make you think about yourself differently? I guess a little like it made me realize I was more social than I thought I was. I wanted to meet a lot more people then I guess I was it made me more outgoing than I was in high school. Good. Yeah. Okay I'm gonna cut it. Okay good.
