Story 00

So my story starts last year in the spring, roughly. I was in a lecture, my E&D class, or my urban planning. I was listening to the lecture, surrounded by my friends and classmates who were also listening and watching the lecture. I was also watching a movie on my laptop, if that makes a difference, paying attention to class much. And then while I was in the middle of the lecture, I get a notification on my phone that I have an assignment that's coming up, because I get updates about assignments that are due or the assignments that are posted. And I forgot about that assignment. So I was getting pretty stressed out, because I didn't have it finished yet. So during the lecture, I stopped watching the movie, and then I started scrambling on my laptop trying to get the work done. All of my peers are watching me, asking me, like, what are you doing? And I'm like, oh, this is the project that I haven't finished yet that's due later tonight. This kind of relates to school, because I'm able to get notifications from my classes. It tells me what assignments I have due, the grades that I'm getting, or if a new assignment is posted. So it kind of keeps me on task. But at the same time, it also kind of stresses me out, because it kind of keeps in the back of my head how much work I have to do, which is a lot of work, unfortunately. So it's kind of a double-edged sword being able to keep me up to date. But then my mind is also on schoolwork all the time. And it just stresses me out overall.
